September 15, 2024: Mae Sai locals clean their possessions in flood water after unprecedented flooding in Mae Sai town caused by the overflow of the Sai river, located in Thailand’s northern Chiang Rai province. Several of Thailand’s provinces, most notably Chiang Rai, have been inundated by the worst flooding the region has seen in over 50 years, leaving tens of thousands impacted and at least 10 dead.
